My clip didn’t upload

Clips only upload when you are signed in and have a shot set up. If either is missing, the Record screen shows “Tap to sign in” or “Tap to set up shot” in the focus square. Saving recordings to Photos depends on your permission and available storage. Uploads need a network connection; iOS may pause background work, so reopen Shreddy if an upload stalls.

How accurate are the numbers?

They are measured from the video using the shot setup: the known distance you marked sets the scale, and the jump and speed-trap markers say where to measure. A careful setup (a long known distance, the phone steady and side-on to the jump) gives the best numbers. If a clip’s numbers look off, the owner can open it on the web and choose Fix calibration to correct the setup and re-measure.

Public or private?

Public clips appear in the feed and on leaderboards and can be opened by anyone with the link. Private clips are hidden from other users in Shreddy’s feeds and clip pages. Media links expire within 12 hours, so a copied link stops working; share a clip with its Share button instead. Choose whether new clips start public or private under New clips in the app’s Settings or the web’s Account → Preferences, and change any clip from its menu. Why does my clip say “Waiting for review”?

Most public clips appear straight away. Sometimes we check a clip before it goes public: until then only you can see it. If we don’t approve it, the clip shows “Not approved” with the reason; fix the issue and make it public again to resubmit, or email us if you think we got it wrong.

Can I choose whether my uploads train AI?

Yes. In the app’s Settings or the web’s Account → Preferences, choose Allow AI training. The switch initially shows on; save your choice to allow training with your public and private uploads. Turn it off to exclude your uploads from future training runs. Normal clip processing still works. Training already started and existing models cannot be undone by this setting. Tagging riders

On a clip, tap the rider’s name to tag who it is: pick someone or add a new name. Only tag people who are happy to be tagged. If you were tagged and don’t want to be, email us and we will remove it.

Reporting and blocking

Use Report on any clip that breaks the community guidelines; we review reports promptly. You can also email us a clip link and describe the concern, even without an account. Block a rider to stop seeing their clips, and hide yours from their signed-in account. Public content can still be viewed while signed out. You can unblock people under Settings → Blocked Accounts in the app or Account → Blocked accounts on the web.

Deleting your account

In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. On the web, go to Account → Delete account. This removes your profile and clips from the active service and starts stored-file cleanup. It does not delete copies in Photos or on someone else’s device. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
